Botox injections in Paris

Aesthetic Medicine, Professor Hersant

Botulinum toxin is used to relax the muscles that over time contract and pull on the skin, creating fine lines and deepening wrinkles.

Botulinum toxin is one of the best weapons for preventing ageing.

It can also be used to treat established wrinkles in the upper and lower thirds of the face.

It can also be used to treat square, masculine jaws linked to hypertrophy of the masseter muscles (most often due to stress).

  • Glabellar wrinkles
  • Crow’s feet (periocular wrinkles)
  • Horizontal frown lines (forehead wrinkles)
  • Chemical eyebrow lift
This involves applying targeted points of botulinum toxin to raise the tail of the eyebrow.
  • The gum smile
Sometimes, when you smile, the gums are exposed and this is unfortunately not aesthetically pleasing. This can be corrected simply by targeted injections of botulinum toxin.
  • Masseter hypertrophy and facial feminisation
This injection requires high concentrations of botulinum toxin because the masticatory muscles are very powerful. This procedure can also be used to treat bruxism (night-time teeth grinding) and subluxation of the temporomandibular joint.
  • Bitter lines or marionette lines
  • The neck or Nefertiti lift:
The ageing of the neck can be prevented and platysmal bands or dewlaps avoided by toxin injections.
  • Mesobotox
Mesobotox consists of injecting microdoses very superficially into the dermis for specific areas such as the lower eyelid, the neck, the décolleté, for the after-effects of acne and the orange peel chin. It can also be used to prevent pathological scarring.
