The Pectus Excavatum

Pectus Excavatum is a congenital deformity of the thorax characterised by a medial or lateral depression of the sternum. In women, it is often accompanied by breast deformity or asymmetry. This condition occurs in 1 to 2% of the population. The impact is essentially aesthetic and psychological, and very rarely functional.

The made-to-measure 3D silicone implant technique involves filling the deformity without affecting the ribcage, unlike traditional orthopaedic techniques such as Nuss or Ravitch. Each implant is designed to adapt to the patient’s specific anatomy. The procedure is simple and painless, and recovery is rapid. Results are immediate.

Poland syndrome

Breast deformity in Paris

Made-to-measure silicone implants

Poland syndrome is characterised by the absence of part or all of the pectoralis major muscle (which may be associated with a malformation of the homolateral hand). As a result, there is a wide anatomical variation in cases of Poland syndrome, with the anomaly often appearing as a depression under the clavicle in men and asymmetric breasts in women.

The technique of custom-made 3D silicone implants involves filling the total or partial absence of muscle. The implant is unique, tailor-made for each patient.
