Hyaluronidase :
Hyaluronidase is the antidote to hyaluronic acid.
It is authorised in France and can only be used by surgeons and dermatologists.
It is used in the case of minor complications: overcorrection, asymmetry or the Tyndall effect (bluish appearance of the skin after injection).

By hydrolysing HA, it reduces its viscosity and increases the permeability of connective tissue. It is also used in cases of severe acute complications such as arterial or venous thrombosis: vascular complications of injectables. Treatment with hyaluronidase is then an emergency and daily monitoring is necessary.
The risk of allergy, although low, must be taken into account, as must the precautions for use in allergic conditions.
