The technique we use does not require drainage and preserves the vascularisation of the mammary gland, reducing the risk of post-operative discharge or cytosteatonecrosis.
Allow 1 week for convalescence and between 1 and 3 weeks for dressing. A suitable bra must be worn for 1 month, day and night and 12 hours a day for 1 month.
The scars go through an inflammatory phase in the first few months. It is necessary to wait 2 years to see the scarring result.
The scar is T-shaped or anchor-shaped: around the areola, vertically and in the fold under the breast.
