In men, the lipomerias (areas of excess fat) are the abdomen, love handles or hips, lumbar region, pubis and chest.
In this case, almost invisible mini incisions are made to lipoaspirate using various cannulas. Wearing a girdle is recommended for one to two months. The result is definitive after 6 months.
In some cases, the morphology may be gynoid, i.e. feminine. The priority is to lose weight. If the weight is stabilised and normalised, excess female fat such as gynaecomastia, saddlebags, etc. can be corrected.

Excess body fat in men can lead to a change in the hormonal profile, with an excess of female sex hormones. Enzymes present in the body fat can capture testosterone (the male sex hormone) and transform it into oestrogen (the female sex hormone), a process known as aromatisation. This can lead to morphological changes (development of the breasts, burying of the penis, gynoid fat) and a reduction in libido and vitality.
For all liposuction procedures, the after-effects are marked by the wearing of a girdle, early resumption of activity and thrombo-embolic prevention (anticoagulation).

What is ETCHING?
Etching is a technique used to enhance the muscles of the abdomen and torso. A fine cannula is used under the skin to cause the skin to retract in relation to the muscular insertions. To obtain impressive results, it is obviously necessary to strengthen the muscles on a daily basis so that they are highlighted. Etching can be carried out after fat has been reduced by diet or liposuction.
Silicone rods are then placed on the skin opposite the muscle insertions. This special dressing is worn for 10 days. The abdominals can be resumed as soon as the silicone support is removed.
Treatment with VASER Lipo
On average, after massive weight loss, there are 5 reconstructive operations: cruroplasty, brachioplasty, abdominoplasty, body lift and mastopexy. Surgical resections of the after-effects of weight loss are carried out after a period of liposuction to reduce the risk of injury to lymphatics, the venous network and nerves. The use of VASER Lipo improves aesthetic results and reduces complications.
